- Function:
Under general supervision, incumbent will be responsible for day to day sales activities in the store including but not limited to: direct sales to contractor and residential customers; assembling and demonstrating various power tools and equipment; inventory management and control; general housekeeping.
- Responsiblilties:
Specific Duties: The Inside Sales person will interact with various industries and customers engaged in the purchase and use of arborist and landscape maintenance tools and power equipment. In this regard, specific duties include:
- Demonstrate knowledge of the use and applicability of the various tools and equipment offered for sale by the Company.
- Interact with customers to discern, evaluate, and address specific needs, and direct the sales process to address those needs.
- Accurately process sales orders originating in the store, over the phone, or through the Company website.
- Process warranty registrations.
- Maintain proper inventory levels both in stock and on the display floor.
- Through formal, informal and self-training, maintain a superior level of product knowledge.
- Maintain the store as a clean and friendly environment.
- Qualifications:
Industry knowledge necessary. Professional manners. Ability to solve problems by making relevant inquiries and matching unit/tool capabilities to customer needs. Prior sales experience helpful.
